Spring's splendor: exploring the blossom beauties in Spain

March and April in Spain

With spring, it is worth remembering that Spain offers absolutely wonderful corners for nature and flower lovers, with landscapes of blooming trees that deserve a visit...

One of the most emblematic sites is the Jerte Valley, a natural paradise where spring comes to life with the lush cherry blossoms. Located in the province of Cáceres, in the region of Extremadura, this valley is famous worldwide for its spectacular landscape during the months of March and April. Every year, more than a million cherry trees dye the valley in white and pink, creating a unique visual spectacle that attracts visitors from all over. In addition to enjoying this spectacle, visitors can explore picturesque villages with traditional architecture, visit the Royal Monastery of Yuste where Emperor Charles V ended his life, and taste delicious local cuisine.

Less famous but equally impressive is the blooming of peach trees in Aitona (Province of Lleida, Catalonia). It offers a colorful spectacle between the months of March and April when the fields are filled with the lush blossoms of peach trees. Photographers, be ready! Every year, Aitona turns into a true floral paradise, and its fields are dyed in white and pink, creating a fairy-tale landscape that invites you to stroll and admire nature in its fullest expression.

We have many different options to enjoy this explosion of colors... You can engage in outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, or simply relaxing in the midst of these idyllic environments.
